General Data Privacy Notice
Your privacy is important to Travel Technology Research Ltd. (“T2RL”, “we” or “us”). To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining how we handle the personal data that we collect online and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. We are the data controller for processing such personal data.
The Information We Collect and How We Use It
We use and otherwise process your personal data for the purposes of: allowing login to and the management of our subscription service; to provide professional and other services to you; to improve the quality of our business and the services we offer; and for sending marketing, communications and other promotional literature.
The information we collect is limited to names, company details, job titles, activity dates, geographic locations, email addresses, telephone numbers and terms agreements. We also collect potentially personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses but do not use such information to identify individuals and do not disclose such information, unless legally obligated to.
Our legal basis to process your personal data includes processing that is: necessary for the performance of a contract between you and us; necessary to comply with legal requirements; necessary for our legitimate interests, such as to improve the quality of our business and the services we offer; and processing with your consent, which you can revoke or withdraw.
We may share your personal data with our service providers and business partners including consultants in connection with the provision of the subscription service and our business, such as our IT service provider or other third party providers. Our third-party service providers currently include “Pipedrive” (located in USA) for database management, Mailchimp (located in USA) for customer relationship management and subscriber communications and CVent (USA) for conference management systems. In addition we may also share your personal data with our research company in India, who provide research support services to T2RL only, on an exclusive contractual basis. We also use a UK based company to host T2RL’s websites.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
As necessary in connection with these purposes, staff and service providers may access and otherwise process personal data in connection with their job responsibilities or contractual obligations. Some of these recipients are located outside of the EEA. We take appropriate steps to ensure that such personnel are bound to duties of confidentiality and we implement measures such as standard data protection contractual clauses to ensure that any transferred personal data, remains protected and secure. Like most website operators, we also collect information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting such information, which does not directly identify you, is to better understand how visitors use, and how to better design, our website. From time to time, we may release related information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of our website.
Rights and Retention of Personal Data
Personal data will be retained only for so long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above, and in accordance with applicable laws.

If you are aware of any changes to or inaccuracies in your personal data, you can also inform us so that your personal data may be updated or corrected. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Cookies are small files which many websites transfer to your hard disk. They can inform the web site what pages you visit, and your preferences, which enable websites to provide you with a more personalized service. We require cookies to be enabled on your browser for you to remain logged in to the T2RL site. Data derived from cookies is used to record site use which enables user activity analysis and error identification. We use Google Analytics. We do provide links to other websites on our website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
