The Market for Airline Retailing and Delivery Systems 2025
After following the market for Passenger Services Systems for almost 20 years T2RL now presents its second comprehensive survey of the changing landscape of airline commercial systems as the move to Offer-Order-Settle-Deliver (OOSD) gathers pace.

We are in the very early days of this transformation, and for the vast majority of airlines, little has yet changed in practice. OOSD migration should be the key enabler for airlines to make full use of the NDC APIs that they have already implemented. So far, we have seen a small number of leading airlines using NDC to distribute various flavours of dynamic pricing, new ancillaries, product bundles and personalised offers, but we believe that generally airlines will require OOSD to fully exploit the move from EDIFACT to NDC.

This report will describe market positioning of traditional PSS vendors and systems but will also identify the moves towards the new standards. We expect that the next few editions will show a gradual migration of airlines to OOSD. We intend to give an insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by airlines and vendors as they plan and implement their move.
